Default Introducing BI6TIM, Queensland E-Series Representative

G'day all,

The results of the vote are in, albeit a few hours early due to Fiery's request to step down as candidate. Nonetheless, she achieved 2 votes in that time despite the turnout being less than overwhelming. Cheers Fiery!

With 7 votes, Tim had a clear lead and it is thus my privilege to welcome him to his new position as Queensland Representative. Tim has indicated he would like to work with other member/s of his choice in arranging meets, as he would be unable to take on the full workload by himself - the details on this are still to come.

In the meantime, well done on the victory Tim, and we look forward to working with you!

Cheers,

Jack

Well done Tim!!

Pity about the low voter turnout.... I thought there was little more support than that!

But anyway, good on ya Tim, looking forward to this weekends cruise!

Congratulations Tim, I know that you will put as much effort in as possible but you also have a good support team behind you to help out where needed.

I have been waiting to say congrats to Tim now since the 17th April as that is the actual date I pulled out of the running (Yes, I do still have the PM's that were sent too).

EA_Bender that is easily answered, people that I have spoken with either personally, via PM, SMS, MSN, or email all knew that I had informed a member of the board that I could no longer run for the rep position 7 days ago. So, I guess people figured why bother voting full stop as that left one person availabl; considering Tim and I were the only 2 candidates that were allowed by the board to run for the Rep Position.

Again Congrats Tim... Hope to see so much more for Qld now and I know you will be asking all members what it is they want and then achieving the best you can.

Oh so you contacted every QLD member did you?? I dont remeber getting anything...

Dont get me wrong, I'm more than happy that Tim won, I'm just saying that it would have been nice to have seen a bigger turnout for it. Theres about 15 people going on the upcoming cruise, did they all show their support?

Again, well done mate

Bender

Where did I state that I contacted 'every member'?
I stated that there was contact with some via PM, SMS, EMAIL, MSN or personally .. These are people I have contact with for one reason or another over time.
If this meant Tim didn't get a bigger voting count(!!??), I apologise, but that is not what the point is I was making!!!!

I am sure Tim does have massive support and hopefully with that support he will lead the Qld E-Series into a club that can only improve from here.

This is the clubs starting point. I too would possibly be at that cruise, but unfortunately I doubt my car will be ready.

If you have any other issues, I would think taking them into PM would be a far greater idea!!

Thanks Luke, that means alot!

I can see from various posts around the place that I've got a job ahead of me teaching people to let stuff go and stop taking offence at every little statement!
We're all supposed to want to get together because of what we have in common.

All votes were counted in the final tally. Fiery's resignation meant security was less of an issue.
