For the peps here that dont know, heres a quick run down.
Body: Lightweight F6 Typhoon Engine: Turbo-charged and intercooled 4.0 litre DOHC in-line six Turbo: Garret GT35/40 POWER: aprox 380kw TORQUE: aprox 700Nm Bulit by FPV and ProDrive, With help from Autotek, Castrol, HIS hoses, Robinson Racing Developments, Revolution Racegear and Dunlop (For more infomation check out www.fpv.com.au) At the hands of Adam Newtom (meter) The FPVs DRIF6 drift car had its first taste of drift life out at mallala Motorsport Park. As a competior in round 1 of the Toyo Drift Australia Nationals. From what i saw, adam done REALLY well it what still is a rather big, heavy car to be throwing round like he did. And for the Ford, Holden battlers, there is 2 Holdens in the comp aswell. 1 the capa ute had major engine problems on the Saturday in prac, then the Manaro and smilar problems on the Sun. And the FPV DRIF6 went all weekend without problem (from what i know). Hopefully with time in the car and some more set-up, Adam can bring Ford more wins in a new type of motorsport. *crosses fingers and toes* I got a couple of pics of the DRIF6 and will post up when i go through all the pics ive got. GO THE FORDS
