Thanks to people supporting my tune - 'Playa' is sitting at 29 on the Triple J Unearthed radio station dance chart. 85% of the people that have listened to it downloaded it! I did a search for it as the charts only go to 25 from what i could see, and the the search said it was 'pop' not dance. I searched for playa and thats all i got, 1 pop song.

Yeah, the online charts go to 25, and every Monday, each artist account has a charts position stats link that gets updated. On Monday I was 29 in my genre (pop, not dance - oops), and 275 in the overall charts. Every day in the morning we get a stats update about how many people have listened, downloaded, and added our songs to their playlists. On Mon I'd had 13 listens and 11 downloads, and as of this morning I'd had 77 listens and 67 downloads, so maybe it will jump up above the 25 position on the charts next Monday. I just had another one of my tunes appear on the page (they take a couple of weeks to moderate them). It's called Revolution Kiss - you can download that one for free too at www.triplejunearthed.com/strikingsmith The site is a really good barometer of whether or not you're on the right track with your songwriting - you friends aren't always honest, but the masses always are. Glad you liked it Adam. I had a listen to your page, and have left a comment. I liked the 2nd song best, and look forward to hearing a fully produced version of the tune.
How long does it take for people's comments to turn up on your page after they post them? CHeers Tommy T
