Default The Denim Machine

Saw an old Val "Denim Machine" Drifter Panel Van heading north on the gateway at Boondall on Wednesday morning

Only ever seen one other and that was back in about 1982 at the Brisbane Hot Rod Show

Before that I had actually entered the original Coke a Cola competition to win it

From memory it was a CL model painted red white and blue with a denim type pattern in the paint, front spoiler and that's all I can remember

i know the guy that won it.

It was a promo for coke and at the end there was a driving skill contest and he won it.

He now is in the SA EH holden club and the van was many years ago

Im sure i've seen this in Street Machine

Panelvans are sooooo retro cool, it's good to see one pop up every now and then.

I saw a stock XD sundowner a few weeks ago, amazed to see one of them.
