what kinda car?
EF/EL mirrors cost around $80 new (i think) and (once again i think) about $60 second hand. plus if your mirror is colour coded then you'll need to get it painted. im not sure of the cost to replace the glass.

Is the black backing plate broken inside the housing?
If not then just go to Ford spare parts and grab a new mirror fits in with a bit of jiggling and lining up correctly. I had to do that a few months ago. |

just give your local ford dealer a call and ask for a eb mirror replacement. they should give you instructions with it on how to fit it.

EA you can just replace the glass I think, EBII and ED you need to replace the whole unit. EBI... I don't know! Check if there is a screw underneath the mirror unit.
