Default Gear stick extenders

Hi just wondering if anyone has come across some sort of extension that you can screw on to a manual gear stick (like where the knob is).

I find that my current ride has a gear knob that is too low and too far forward. Would prefer something that comes up higher and back a bit so I don't have to lean forward to change gears.

Something like the old hurst shifters lol. but more elegant...you get the idea....

Or this... but I'd prefer something i could screw on to replace the knob rather than changing the entire stick.

If you do find something, I will buy your old gear knob off you....assuming it's the T Series we are talking about.....
