Greetings
Has anyone fitted a fire extinguisher to a Fiesta. I intend doing so to my WS Zetec as a requirement for some circuit/tarmac events I've begun dabbling in. I've purchased an extinguisher with metal mounting bracket and 2 mounting holes. I've seen various setups in other cars, from attaching to a special rail attachd to underside of fr. passenger seat, to rear floor pan, fr pass. floor pan. Regulations stipulate it must be fixed in a manner: -to withstand an acceleration of 25G (approx a 50kg load - with nut and bolt) -to be within reach of the driver I'd appreciate any feedback Jim |
