Isn't the SRX Caddy a glorified Captiva / Saturn Vue? Even though Caddy say it's a "different" platform? Pfff...

I took it as alluding to the idea that the best Ford in the world is only sold in Oz and NZ...

Does that mean the Camaro will be exported? I thought GM canned export versions of the Camaro.

Ford isn't just in Australia or America.

There is Europe remember and the Fiesta, Focus and Mondeo are rather popular there.

Also a much higher quality of vehicle than a Daewoo or Kia.

Ford F150 SVT Raptor
Hyundai Genesis sedan (V6/V8)
Fisker Karma
Chevy Volt
Ford Fusion Hybrid
Ford Taurus SHO
Nissan GT-R

Ok some of these might have been eligible last year, and some may not be eligible till at least next year, but I will add them to the list anyway.

The stipulation isn't that the company has to be global but the eligible vehicle has to be available in 5 countries across 2 continents. Hence, Ford being 'American' is irrelevant.

Focus and Mondeo - out. Too old.

Fiesta? Maybe but do you think it's worthy of 2010 Car of the Year?

Err, no. I don't think a VE is either. :P

How laughable that the camaro is on that list, the things have only been on sale for a short time and problems are surfacing everywhere.
