Default How do you lock the doors

A few weeks ago, my FPV BF MKII GT had to go to Bryan Byrt Ford for 5 days and they gave me a Fiesta CL to putt around in

My partner and I couldnt find the central locking button?

Does the car have one? On either driver or passenger door, there is no locking mechanism....

That's not very safe given that it is marketed towards young people, especially women??

Does anyone know more about this?

push the interior door opener in.. on drivers side it locks both doors. the passenger door just locks itself.

Just went out and tried that! Amazing! The things you learn when you don't have the owner's manual.

I always wondered why the Fiesta couldn't be locked from the inside especially since it was designed for markets like the UK where carjackings are pretty common.

I'm still in shock over the whole thing...

my mum used to have a GT falcon and she couldnt lock it from the inside whilst she was driving..it would set the alarm off..1st time she did it she was driving through a dodgy area and locked the doors as she came to a set of light-the alarm started sounding and she didnt know what was wrong so pulled over and rang dad (was GM of ford dealership) and it took the service dept couldnt figure out what the prob was..mum just figured it out after she did the door lock think a few times and the alarm went off..she got diff car coz 1- cost too much in petty, and 2- didnt feel safe driving without the central locking feature
