Just done a quick search and couldnt really find what i was looking for, but i was just wondering whats the wait on a new focus?
Also like so many other here im undecided on which model but i do have a budget so i was wondering whats the going prices on the latest model? Looking at the webiste it looks like you can buy a base model and option it up to look like a zetec for way less money, am i right in saying this?? |

Before i bought my LR Focus, i was quoted for a CL Manual hatch, $20,020 Drive Away, plus the $890 for Smooth pack and $1190 for Safety pack, for a Total of $22100. This was December 15 or so.

Yeah, you could but also keep in mind that a Zetec second hand will fetch more than a CL with a bodykit. If you plan on keeping the car for many, many years then this probably doesn't figure into the equation.
In my opinion a CL with both smooth and safety packs is probably better value than an LX, you only miss out on a few minor things. |

For sheer value for money, the CL with Safety and Smooth packs is an absolute bargain. I talked myself into shelling out a bit more for the LX, with a few more minor trimmings, which in cold terms aren't worth the extra ask, but I convinced myself were worth it on a subjective appearance level with resale also in mind, and would do the same again.
Go with the best heart/wallet compromise. |

I was told close to immediate delivery... within 7 days... whether or not that was a sale pitch is another matter... but it appears some stock is starting to get built up!
