Default 2008 Fiesta radio problem

hi guys i have a 2008 Fiesta (Newershape) and My radio display turns off, then turns back on in a few seconds, then about 20 seconds later the actual radio itself turns off.
Has anyone had this problem before or no how to fix it?
Many Thanks josh

Hi,

The radio in my 2008 Fiesta has just done the exact same thing. How did you deal with it?

Cheers.

It sounds like "dry solder". This is where a solder detaches itself from its connection. If it appears as the same fault over many units it comes down to the skill of the person/robot doing the soldering.
As most circuit board have hundreds of solder joints it is extremely hard to track.

Hi,

Looks like I'll have to purchase a second-hand radio and install it...

Cheers.
