Default What Car is this S/Wheel of?

A while ago I found is Steering Wheel in deceased relatives shed while helping to clean the property up for sale and it has me tossed to what make or car it has come off.

good question mate......er and no idea, sorta looks 50's era, something pommy I would have said, just did a gooooogle ...... a ford thames looks similar, but with a different centre cap.

I would say VANGUARD, they were made by the Standard Motor Car Company.

And just to muddy the waters, the same logo was also used on Triumph cars and their steering wheel centres, Standard bought Triumph in 1944.....

Well so it is I had looked at MG,Austin, Morris and Ford Prefect never would have picked Triumph or Vanguard.
