Default My new car :) Not very dial up friendly.

Fiesta, What a fun little car it was ! i was sad to see it go, it gave me no problems in the two years of ownership and now its gone to another loving owner I actually recieved an sms from the new owner yesterday saying that he got booked for speeding on the way up north for his holidays ha ha ha !

GTI !!!!!!! What a raunchy little car this is ! Absolutely loving it, ohh... and the exhaust note is to die for !

Well you know where I stand with the POLO GTI.

Congrats on the purchase. Good to hear the Fez is still causing some trouble.

Cant wait to see it in the flesh.

Looks great, and I'm sure its a better drive than the Fez. Then again it also cost a whole heap more. Enjoy!

Hey Mitch!

As I've said through various conversations off the forum, CONGRATS!

Glad you got the Polo GTI - can't wait to see it! White is by far the best colour on it :

Cheers :

*oh, and Danny... don't you go getting any ideas :

A nice little hot hatch with excellent economy from a turbo DIESEL.

I was also looking at the Punto Sport 1.9tdi

But yeah, i didnt like it.

Im very VERY happy with my choice, all my mates love it too.

Imolator, it is a very fun little car to drive, you can feel the little bit of extra weight it carries incomparison to the Fiesta, but its suspension, tyres and engine make for a powerful little car !

Im limiting myself to about 3.5 rpm at the moment, and only very partial throttle, although i did blip 4 thousand rpm yesterday :o stupid bus pulled out infront of me and i had to get around it.

MelbZetec, that fine wont be coming to me, He said he got pulled over and physically given a fine on the spot (in other words he wasnt caught by a fixed speed camera)
He mentioned he also got a $230+ fine ! ouchies.

Teki, agreed, white is best on the GTI. A girl i work with who owns a new Audi A3 kept saying omg... why on earth are you getting a polo.
Yesterday when she saw it she goes OMFG YUM, can you take me for a spin tomorow night after work ha ha ha

I dunno the situation, but I think you'll find buses have the right to do that, to pull into traffic.

Default My new car :) not dial up friendly.

Ha ha ha !!!! a full day of fun in the sun with my new car and im loving every moment of it.

Got a few thumbs up from the local audi people :P

And dusted a modified vtir integra i was changing gears at only 4k lol

Re the bus.... i must have been in his blind spot or something because i was half way up the length of the bus when he pulled out. I dont think he has a right to do that, seems dangerous to me.

MY GOD I LOVE THIS CAR !

hahaha !

my valve blew off when i picked my car up from the dealership.

Apparently the VW uses a diverter valve instead of blow off valve. you can get replacements. but its only needed if u seriously hike up the power.

Im content not having it got PSHhhhhhhhht.

I like the fact that when i put my foot down it whistles like a little ******
Now to scare the pants off comodore drivers... slap their 5litre asses down :P

Congrats on the purchase Mitch!

I had a test drive of the Polo Gti (and almost half the VW range!) and was pretty impressed - quick little bugger!!

Let us know how the flast tune goes too

Polo GTI comes with a blow off valve (along with all modern turbocharged cars). It uses a Plumb back valve.

Without it youd get turbo flutter.

Ive read on the vw forums that its not actually called a bov. its a diverter valve. possibly does the same thing. being plumb back.

but goes by a different name
