I haven't personally lived there but the in laws live nearby in Huntingdale. Seems like a decent enough place, does have a bad reputation for car theft and petty crimes though so as long as you have a lock up garage shouldn't be too much trouble. its definitely more affordable than some areas!

I live in maddington. primary school at the end of my street, looks ok. Very quiet area where I am BUT this is not common around here. On the other side of the shopping center there are some `pretty ordinary folks` getting around. pm me if you want more details. Overall, its not a bad suburb ( better than midland anyway Imo )

Dad lives in Gosnells (adjoining suburb). Like any area there can be problems, but I don't think any worse than most.
If you really get keen on a house, see if you can have a quiet word to the neighbours. Often it's a few streets within a suburb where trouble centres, and they will hopefully tell you what their street is like. When we were looking at houses, always asked the seller/agent if they have had any break-ins. Probably not a bad question for the neighbours either if you're talking to them. Good luck in your hunt!
