There isn't allot for the NA focus in tunes.
There is this: http://www.european-parts.net/catalo...oducts_id=1260 Not 100% sure if it will work with our focus' ECU though. Other than that you can take your car to a tuning place and have it done full custom, I went to Herrords motorsport to see if it could be done because Ford have a thing with changing the ECU's around allot so they were unsure, they can, but said it would cost around $1600 for a complete custom tune.

Thanks for that info, Your right there seems to be very little in the way of tuning this model. Most European sites cater for focus before 2005. C.V Performance said they would tune my car if i can get the tuning device from the U.K and take it to them. Just can't find what i am looking for.

To be fair, the $1600 would include the cost of the SCT X3 unit, which holds up to 3 tunes for your car, plus backs up your original.
Blanco, what you might need to do is drive to an SCT tuner (CV performance is one of them) and get them to plug in the X3 to your car and see if it is compatible with your ECU. If it is, then there is a chance that they can tune your car. Getting an X3 / XCAL 3 tuning device from the UK is risky, as there is no guarantee that it will be compatible with the Australian ECU. |

I'll try another SCT. I wont buy from the U.K, I'll just find a tuner that can do the job. Thanks for your help.

dreamscience and Bluefin both work on that model.
They arent custom tunes but unless your going to be doing serious modifying then i wouldnt be concerned. Dont bother with Australian Tuners - waste of time for the little gain IMHO and they dont really give a rats @rse about the car. They just get you in, give you a tune, then send you on your merry way even if your not happy with it. Australian tuners know little to next to nothing about the focus 4pot and how it works. Europe is the way to go. There is only one australian tuner that i have seen that went and did R&D on a focus and they are in sydney. i had my car tuned by a site sponsor *wont mention who they are* and the car has been horrible. so horrible in fact im getting rid of it and returning it to stock. My suggestion, is to drop Jared from Dreamscience an email or email the Super Chips Bluefin guy in NZ who comes to AUS all the time. Very good customer service and at the end of the day if your not happy with the tune they will refund the money.

Your right!. I already received a reply form Dreamscience advising me that they are unable to tune my particular model. If in the future they have a product i am seeking , they will email me.
