Hi all,
My father passed away in 2005 after a brief battle with Cancer. He was a bit of a hoarder and collected many different things. My brothers and I have been sifting through these things recently and I have come across some "new" car brochures which he has collected. These range from many different manufactures and models. Would you be interested in me scanning these in and posting them up here? Some notable examples include the 1964 Nissan Cedric, sedan and wagon; the Leyland P76, Mini's, Austin Healy Sprite, Datsun's, and a few others. Some other examples are the Falcon range dating back to probably the 60's up to the BA's, a lot of Holden brocures, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Hyundai and Mazda. Please note that this will take a while for me to do if you wish for them as I can only do them at night time after work and probably only an hour or so a night. Let me know and I can possibly start tomorrow night. An Example

The Cedric leaflet mentions something about the covered spare tire "from a tool room" what does this mean exactly??
Thanx... |

By the looks of it, I think it means the covered spare tire houses tools behind it (i.e. tool room, room for tools)

These are great. A step back in time, it's interesting see the advancements in technology during those years. What looks fairly simple I guess was something new and something to get excited about. keep em coming. These are fantastic.

Sorry to hear about your loss.
The P76 ones are great! My Grandfather whos 82 now, was the manager of quality control at Leylands during, before and after the P76 era. As much as people have hung s@#t on them, they were a great car, but only arrived on the scene at the wrong time.

Thank you all for your condolences. Dad passed away in May 2005, so we have had plenty of time to come to terms with his loss.
It was a brief battle where he was diagnosed in July 2004 and passed away 10 months later. Watching one of your loved ones die from Liver Cancer is not something that I would wish on anyone. Please help out people in the future by supporting such good causes as the Cancer Council, Australia's Biggest Morning Tea, Pink Ribbon Day, Movember and other worthy causes which raise money for research in to Cancer and other life threatening illnesses. Having seen what my Dad (and my Mum whilst she was taking care of Dad) went through, it scares me as now there is a family history of Cancer. I want to help by supporting those that wish to try and find a cure to this and other diseases, and hopefully myself and my wife won't have to go through what my Mum and Dad did. http://www.cancer.org.au/ http://www.movember.com.au http://www.biggestmorningtea.com.au/ http://www.pinkribbonday.com.au/
