Default 1998 festiva workshop & owners manual

Hi

I have just bought a 1997 festiva. No owners manual came with the car so I am trying to find a manual and also if possible a workshop manual on the web. Can anyone point me in the right direction. At the moment i dont even know how much fuel goes in the tank.

cheers Kc

They have a VERY small tank, 32l is about the most you will cram in, even with the empty tank light fully on for a while (I think they said it was 36-38l in the book.

On the plus side, if your car is anything like mine 32l will get you 500+km on the freeway, or 450km of 50/50 driving. They are very frugal.

Here is a manual from ebay.

I tried to buy a new manual a few years back. They were available at select ford dealers new, but then found my old one.

Thanks for that. I did see that manual on ebay but though i might get one in better condition. Wow that is a small tank. Do they all have low fuel warning lights? At the moment i am running at 8.8l /100km all town driving. Is that about right?

regards Kc
