Default Please help, Eb WONT START

93 Ford EB Futura

Ok, went to start my ford, nothing, Battery flat. Then spent 40 minsutes trying to jump it, nothing.

New Battery.

After i put it in the hazard lights came on and stayed on, not blinking, just on.

I had a hole in my radiator overflow and there was some dried coolant around the battery so i cleaned it up and lights went out.

Went to start, (all dash lights working, headlights ETC) NOTHING.

The starter wont even turn over. just a "Click" when i turn the key.

Whats wrong with my baby? PLEAAAAAAAAAASE HELP.

ignition coil maybe?
does your car turn over? check to see if any spark comming through the plugs? chuck a multi meter on the starter engine to see if theres a current flowing through it?

Smartlock? (got an immobiliser? "unlock" the car with the immobiliser, not just your key)

Methinks you have an ED as well, Futuras didn't come out until the ED range.

A hole in the rad reservoir sounds a tad concerning! Could you describe it better for us?

Ok its a 93 ford futura, auto, sedan.

I had a really small hole in the overflow tank, anyway i left the car for 3 months in a carpark (it was running perfectly)

So as i said went to start it NOTHING, new battery, then starter wont even turn over.

The smartlock light is doing its normal thing, when i take key out it flashes then when i put it in it goes out.

Im stumped
