Is it just me or is Ford not out to really try and impress. Heres a link to the new FPV F6X, just doesn't get me excited at all. Thet should sack a few more design duds that are drawing and designing these (supposed) excitement machines. Interior looks great but exterior looks a bit plain jane!

Man that looks like everyother territory on the road doesn't it. Need bigger wheels, the front and rear bars look almost stock standard too....

Looking at it again, even the wheel design is boring, comparred to the other FPV models.

In the article it says it's a brand new design and apparently the lack of size is due to suitable rubber not being available. But still.

Sorry Ford/Fpv, lame lame lame. Worse attempt I have ever seen. Did they not listen to the views expressed at the Sydney motorshow.
Funny thing is, the new head of Fpv stated that they did listen, and were going to make changes. A stripe down each side, wow. If they don't have the money to do it properly, why bother. Waste, and does Fpv's reputation no good at all. |

Your kidding? I liked the previous version much more and I thought they were going to make it more bold due to public reaction? IMO might as well not bother and wait till Orion released and stick the Orion F6 Engine in there...In a proper looking version I mean..

Thats the same F6X I saw in Geelong yesterday.
0-100 in 5.9 is pretty damn quick though for a big SUV, too bad its looks don't back up its performance. |

They will end up selling about 4 models, which is probably down a little on the 6 models they may have sold if it looked any good.

So, im guessing that FPV have used a limited budget to concentrate on getting the Orion FPV's out soon? Understandable, when the orion release is out of the way and a territory update happens i hope we see somthing more badass

They could have done better but I prefer underdone to overdone. Body kits on 4WDs look lame, the HSV one was a brilliant example of that but a bit of differentiation from the rest of the range would have been good. The wheels is a weak excuse but at least it's not a hard thing for people to change themselves.

Thats the redesigned F6X after the underwhelming reception given to the original concept? Apart from adding the poxy stripe, what else have they done? Worst FPV/Tickford ever. :togo:

I think it looks GREAT.
But for all you unhappy little vegemites I am sure that there are spinners, ultra doof doof amps and neons available somewhere. What do you expect, it is a soft road people mover not a sports saloon. It is amusing that when FPV did the super body kit terri at the FPV day last year the same people seemed to think that it was too much. No one has complained about the price yet, strange...... |

It's more the lack of differentiation from a regular Terri. It looks like an entry level Terri, especially with those headlights. It just dosn't look like an FPV. The price I guess is irrelevant as the car is not that appealing in the first place.
Also when the new FPV boss made a point of listening to the public after the initial launch and said he would fix the underwhelming design it reassured some of the dissapointed fans the FPV were on to it. It seems that the resolution was to add a stripe package and one or other irrelevant elements. The car just dosn't scream FPV or 70,000+k. |

i like the seats, but they could of done more body work, like body kit, bigger wheels, xr headlights.
It looks like an xr6 territory, not a fpv. |

It clear shows that the F6X has been designed around a very small budget. Without the front badge on the grill, anyone will be hard pressed to seperate it from a standard turbo territory. Its dissapointing to say the least.
The strips indicate the direction that ford and FPV are heading on the new orion model and possible FPV models. Infact the strips look very similar to the wheels cover of the gold coloured XR8. |

Those wheels look pathetic on a car like that. Oh well, at least that can be fixed.

Very disappointed, hopefully the Orion version is a lot more aggressive, it doesn't have that FPV look

No doof doof for me mate im the opposite, it just needs to be diffrent from the the standard range, i think for 60+ you want it looking diffrent than the turbo tezza next door. And the wheels on it actually look like doof doof material. the stripes are half assed. I would like it to have looked fatter, the BMW X5 looks FATT. |

The Territory should always have had the blacked out 'bar' behind the number plate (a good addition) the black insert on the bonnet intake looks alright, but the grey mirror covers and tiny wheels look el cheapo. And dont get me started on the stripes. FPV shouldve left the stripes for the GTs, and added chrome mirror scalps, 19" wheels and the optional Ford body kit for the Territory (front and rear bumper add-ons) [at least] |

now if the fpv tezza was more like this, then i would consider the 70+ price tag as reasonable. But what fpv is offering, its a bit of a dissapointment. |
