Sorry to say mate but I'm pretty sure the the BA XR6 Turbo will have your number....not by to much....but when it comes down to it.....it's just a six....just the sound of a 5.6ltr is more than worth the little less speed over the 1/4....post your result I and I hope you do win though!!!

I think this will be an interesting one. Depends on how he moves through the gears of his manual.
My auto XR6T, I would be confident. Let us know how it all goes. |

No Way!!!
It will be a good run. Just suck it up at the start and Bog the *** of your demon down to the ground. He will spin so hard you can make up the short fall with clever power down at the start. TRUST ME YOU WILL DO IT IF YOU RACE SMART!!! |

It's not called a pursuit for nothing. You will be behind (pursuing) at the end of the 1/4.

I would say the turbo but just... The turbo has less power but full torque arrives earlier in the rev range, plus its a manual.
But the pursuit would sound way sweeter. |

it all depends if it's his first time running the xr6t then you will have him on the first few runs, until he figures out how to launch the manual off the line without bogging down or bagging them up. Apparently it's a fine art to learn at first. An auto xr6t on the other hands would have you

So many of these who what would beat what threads!!
Drag racing isn't an armchair sport. You have to go out to the drags and line him up. Even without the best ET with reaction time I can regularly beat so called faster cars and have the slips to prove it. get out from behind the PC and go drag racing and tell us how you went in real life not what ifs on the computer |

As has been said - it will all depend how he launches his manual. If he can drive it will be a dead heat - if he can't your auto will clean him up.

Does Dubbo have its own 1/4 strip now, or are you going to the 1/8 strip at Bodangra ?

Is it a mk1 ba. cos the manual was shita (hard to shift or something) than the auto but they fix it on the mk11. so u might beat him. Probably skill will have alot to do with it not just power. just make sure you get a good launch cos chances are he will get wheel spin.
