While at the Port of Brisbane at Patricks car dock I was in the pre delivery shed and saw some new sports coupes being prepped, One had the bonnet up so I took a look, there was this engine, on the cover was the words
D-4S Boxer Subaru This had me a confused as I was sure I had seen a Toyota badge on the front of the others, so I look and yep there was the Toyota badge on the grille Interesting that Toyota have chosen to leave the Subaru stamp on the engine cover, maybe some contractual agreement Seems Toyota and Subaru have gotten together to build this car Named "86"(FT-86 II Concept) by Toyota(86 referring to the 86mm bore and stroke of the engine) and BRZ by Subaru front engined and rear drive Nice looking car, no price on the web page though http://www.toyota.com.au/86/gallery?...ota_86_image_1 http://subaru.com.au/active/atc/brz

Yeah the FT86 has been one of the newer vehicles a lot of people have been anticipating to see out in the wild.
Some decent vids of some in Japan ... and one i posted with some Lexus V8 goodness under the bonnet as well.

Well they are here, and there are a lot of them, all being "Australianised" and having options fitted at the Port of Brisbane, so I expect they will be released very soon
