Its been a big orgy of automakers for years, just purchased a Mitsubishi part today for a Peugeot as it is half the price, Nissan parts for Renaults etc etc

Actually, I think all the “European” brands could come under a couple of new marques - Bosch and Valeo. Losing the old names would hopefully lose some of the prejudice.
