If the weather is fine I will be there. The night should be cold and I am hanging for a decent number.
Come and say gidday, I have a silver BA XR8 Ute with Bluepower sticker on back window. Will be in staging lane 2 or 3.
I am sure you will love the night and it all starts from there. LoL.

Cheers,

Chris

Would love to have another run with some decent weather. Cold dry and no wind are what I am waiting for.

None of this 50 degree track temp stuff for me! Sticky is one thing dripping is another.
looks like it could be good but. ......

I would need more notice.

Do a baseline run you will kick yourself if you don't. Its nice to know where you started as it puts your own times into perspective.

My wagon stock 5,000km on it ran 16.8 (pretty disappointed with that didn't try a million tiems to better it) and I am happy to know how the progress went 15.9 with exhaust, 15.6 with cam 15.4 with Unichip.

Seeing that i am still at work today (look @ the time on the post! damned computer companies), ill just make it to spectate today... with video cam of course... i think the smarter thing to do is suss out how the whole drag scene works before i run...

Oh, and i need a helmet too... EBAY here we come!!! lol :S

So... next Weds night @ WSID i will be there... Ill have my old wheels for some burnouts too... and maybe an LSD too

As far as my mods, read my siggy... JMM exhaust tip to toe, mandrel intake with pod, sticky rubber, and the beautiful auto box with questionable shift patterns). Shift kit will be in and switchable by the weekend

so its stock, really

I'm up for it. I should be back on the road in time for 10th May with some mildly ported heads and lower intake.

Hurry up and buy some more power Stiddy, I'll be gunning for 13's n/a, stock converter, and no tune next time out... out:

I'm thinking of coming up for a night at the track, how much does it cost to enter & what sort of time do you need to get there?

Its $45 to enter, and it starts around 5.30pm.. so be there before then to get scrutineering out of the way and everything else.

Thanks stiddy, anything outside of norm for scrutineering (like tails shaft loops)?

Um its in the check list, but they dont enforce it...
They basically just ensure the car is 'road worthy', plus the newer the car is the less they look over it..
Just have long sleeve shirt, pants on, enclosed shoes, and a helmet.. your $45 dollars and you should be sweet.

You can pick up a cheap helmet from MCA (motor cycle accessories) in Parra (church st) all standards approved for about $90ish (last I checked).

With the cooler nights we're having some good times are def due.

I'd love to get up and have another run but the car really needs the unichip retuned.
