Default FPV Mondeo of FPV Focus? Possibility?

Hi guys.

Just wondering with all the talk of new model line up,

do you think Ford Oz would consider releasing FPV tuned Mondeo and/or Focus variants?

And yes, I know they have the XR5T, but I'm talking FPV.

Rather, would it have a customer target, and be worth it?

I heard something a little while ago, think it was posted on here that someone at FPV said something about an FPV focus. (purely speculation from my POV). Personally i dont want to see an FPV version of either IMO i think the F6X was a step in the wrong direction.
BTW love the last option in your poll "Maybe your on something" :

FPV would be crazy to invest in a Focus before the RS comes out next year, total waste of money....... Just import the RS and slam an FPV badge on it.

Mondeo? Possible, but would not sell well. A lot of money for little return.

I have a feeling they are out of $$$$. They have spent up on Orion, and are likely spending heavily on getting ready for Cyclone/Hurricane updates in 2010.

Seems likely now that FPV will be Importing the Focus RS, and will sell it with other FPVs.

As for Mondeo, I don't expect to see it, but a Heavily modified XR5T Mondeo would go down well, with about 220KW, 450NM, and could go nicely against Liberty GT B-Spec.

Mondeo ? No. Won't sell & won't happen.

Focus ? Probably in 2011 when the Focus is built here.

After seeing the F6X, I hope not.

FPV Focus, ONLY if it is a rebadged RS from Europe, when it comes out.

FPV Mondeo, waste of time - would not sell well.

I believe we will see a Mondeo ST, with the Ovlov 3.2 I6T. As for the Focus, it is almost certain that FPV will carry the Focus RS when on sale. I'd be happy to own either of these cars.

If they ever release the Focus RS I will be down at Ford pretty bloody quickly. That would be the only car I could think about trading the XR in on.

if Ford bring in the RS(which i doubt) it wont be wearing an FPV badge, Barrett has confirmed this! FPV want to do a focus and it is on the radar, but they will only do it when it is built here so they can have sufficent engineering input rather than just a re-badge! Fair call i'd say!

Lets see...

FPV GT-E
FPV GT
FPV F6

to be complemented by...

FPV F5 GT (an FPV Mondeo)

and

FPV F5 R (an FPV Focus)

just a thought... and it would be awesome!

Slapping an FPV badge on the RS is sacriledge. FPV had no say, nor any input into the Focus RS. They do not deserve to advertise the focus RS as an FPV as it has not been touched by FPV. It should be left as is and sold as a Focus RS. Sure..sell it out of FPV but no name badging, go ahead and advertise it on the website of FPV and all that... but definately NO FPV BAgding.

A RS Focus would sell better than a FPV Focus imho, the RS name plate has a long and proud history unlike FPV.

If FPV sold a rebadged RS Focus, I'd buy it & debadge before it left the dealership.
