hi guys,
Washed the car thoroughly yesterday as a starting point for the BBQ! Today my darling daughter put some scratches on the door whilst carrying my sister's handbag!!! : What cut at polish should I use? Ok I admit it, there are other marks that need a going over as well. e Which polishes will not ruin the clear coat? Which polishes are really abrasive and which are gentle? Which polish will help with swirl marks? Does anyone use an electric buffer? I've heard these can be baaaaad! Help please, I want to do a decent job for Sunday! GK

Be carefull with electric buffers !, its easy to melt the paint and chew it off in seconds if you don't know what your doing , also try and stay away from 'cut & polish's unless your paint really needs cutting back ! , most of the time the car will come up nice with just a wash , then a polish and wax ;) . Cut and polish is like a once a year thing at the most imo .
