I'm starting this thread to see who is already on Google's Email revolution
the Google wave.

It's still in a public preview mode with only small number of people having accounts, I'm still waiting for mine form google but I'd appreciate an invite from anyone...

Sure,
Google basically asked them selves how would email work if it was invented today?
The solution is simple- the email doesn't need to be sent at all- they came up with "hosted conversation" where the message sits online and you and the recipients access it.
They combined the functionality of email, live chat and forums into this one neat package that they now work on expanding.

This solves one of the worst problems with emails.
Have you ever tried to organize something, with multiple people, through email?
You end up with a message that has been forwarded, replied to all, changed and forwarded again and again. Now invite another person and forward the email to them and they only reply to you so you need to forward that again.......

Google wave let's you do that in a simple, clean way. And when you join an ongoing conversation that seems complicated you just PLAY IT BACK and you see step by step who wrote what.

It's currently in a very limited public preview release- 100000 accounts given to testers, developers and public. It'll take them few months before all the planned features get incorporated but I reckon it's going to revolutionise the way people collaborate online.
