Default Ya gotta love Fordforums ....

Yesterday I went into town to the supermarket in the 'lane. Upon return to the car I tossed the shopping onto the floor behind the drivers seat and climbed in behind the wheel. When I started the car there was a horrid buzzing coming from the lower dash that turned out to be the electric window relay. After much consternation and swapping out of relay, fuses and door switches to no avail I thought I'd come to the forums looking for a cure before ripping into the car to find the short circuit.

5 minutes later and after the reading a 10 year old thread, the first post I read on electric window issues, I discovered it was a crimped wire under the drivers seat. Moved the seat forward the merest fraction and the problem went away. Dug the crap out from under the seat and tidied up the wire routing and good as gold....... thanks to the forum.

Ya gotta love the forums

Cheers
