Question Cold Running

Hey Guys,

I'm a newby, to this forum & cars in general.

Question: I realise that cars tend to run better when it ain't 40 degrees. But my Fiesta seems to run brilliantly in really cold weather, I mean awesome.

Is there some way I can average it out a little, so there's not such a performance slump when it's hot?

Cheers...

Welcome to the forums ...
quick answer ...nope
cars love cold air coz its more dense meaning more air gets into the engine for combustion ...more air + more combustion = more power ..

Thanks for that, I kind of suspected that would be the answer.

A cold air intake system may be what you're looking for, see mitch's post
