Are they doing a Calais and a Calais V Option aswell?
I dont think either Ford or Holden have ever offered this many Wagons Variants before, Holden must think they are going to crack a new market...

That is going to look ugly in Omega guise. Doesnt look too bad there, but if u take away the rims, put it to normal ride height for the VE it wont look any good at all! My 2c |

If its available in any any model type (Omega-SSV) thats a pretty big deal, its been a long time since you could do that with either Ford OR Holden. Senator Wagon could be nice.

I actually think it looks quite nice. Heres the official site for it:
http://www.clearyourcalendar.com.au/...CALAENDARHOME2 Boot space is very good, but i'm going to stay loyal to Ford. Bugger me an XR8 Wagon would be nice though.

I reckon the wagon looks pretty good. I'd also like to see Ford offer a full range of wagons again. At the moment you can only get XT and Futura, all in auto, with the Barra 190 as the only engine. A pitiful range. Ford wagons used to have V8s, manuals, XR6s, and Fairmont Ghias. No wonder they don't sell that many.

some moron at the chrysler/dodge stand (he worked there) told me that Holden copied their 300C wagon for the 'sportwagon' design. i just said "what about saab" and he walked off.

Who said boot space is good? : I would say very 'European', which stands for, "Cant fit a bloody thing in the back!"

Sportswagon usually stands for NO ROOM. Nice looking vehicle IMO, bet it doesn't have leaf springs either.

Have any of guy's actually tried putting equipment in the back of a VE wagon? I'd at least try one out before bagging it.

I really do like it, much better than the sedan. But it will look gay in Omega form, like the sedan. But credit to Holden for making the wagon more cool and offering it in all models, instead of just letting the wagon die like Ford will end up doing.

They do however offer wagons to their corporate customers (which I was). It is dissapointing. If they get rid of the wagon, does that mean the ute is then going to be on the chopping block too? It would be the only LWB Falcon left. I doubt they'll let that happen. |

It makes no difference how practical it is... Only how well it sells. The VE is a larger car so the wagon is not actually that small... Its as large as a VS wagon. |
