Somehow I would not be using the term "Light" to describe the fire damage to this car.

Why do people put capital lettered words in advertisements that don't relate to the product being sold? MUSTANG has nothing to do with a Landau. It's like those ads you see someone is selling an EF. So they put EF XR6 EA EB ED EF EL GHIA FAIRLANE TICKFORD V8. what the hell?

Exactly...less is more...just put "Ford" in the description and you'll get all those people anyway, as most people searching for something for, say, an EA Falcon will type in EA Falcon or Ford EA and not just "EA"...defeating the purpose of sticking a dozen different model designations in your headline.

Back to the crispy coupe...cutting the roof off coupes used to be remarkably common...most decent sized car shows in the seventies and into the late eighties would have at least one...some worked better than others. XA/B/C Falcons didn't...that kick up in the rear body just looked wrong. You could get away with it on a carefully done HQ-shape Monaro but it still didn't look quite right, and those big Valiant coupes from VH onwards just didn't work either for the same reason as the Falcon. None of them looked right, all of them flexed like a flexy thing, and had to be weighed down with a hundred kilos of steam pipe welded into the floor as a "chassis".
Utes did work...I've seen HQ to WB utes, Falcon utes, and saw one VH ute in a magazine. The roof was a bit of a problem though.

"Light fire damage" with the interior and all wiring burned out...?

Ebay is cracking down on this I think. I was looking at a few classic cars recently and the seller re-listed one after it got pulled down by ebay. He was having a sook in his new listingthat ebay did this because he had several comparable models in his title ie Mustang for sale, NOT Charger, Valiant, Torana, Monaro etc...

Peeves me off to no end.......

I'm no metal specialist, but would that fire have caused warping and flexing to the firewall and surrounds??

To bad just about every Valiant VF/VG coupe became a "convertible" in the eighties/nineties ..
It would have to be an older conversion as you can buy a Mustang convertible cheaper than a Falcon Coupe/Landau these days ..
