My wife can't seem to drive the wagon properly without the trip computer working. The problem is that the LCD is very dim/dull, even though the instruments a set to be at their brightest. What could the fault be? is it likely to be expensive to fix? :

theres a small bulb behind it, remove a few screws in the dash, pop the trip comp out and replace the bulb. easy as
I had the same problem in my EF Fmont Ghia ;) edit: I'm presuming it's an EL wagon? |

Yeh! its a EL Fairmont wagon. Fantastic car, great to drive. I thought that it may be more than just a blown globe as the display is just very, very dim not out completely. Thanks.
