Default broke my drivers seat!

well as the title says, my drivers seat broke tonight, so im not happy.
is it common for the ef seats to break? its broken on the back bit on the side closest to the middle, cant see right now whats broken but ill try and see what has happened tommorrow at work... bugger more money to spend on a car i hardly drive!

Yep a common thing.
The main support upright will have broken just above where it is stamped for the pivot point.
You will have to get it welded with some more metal plates for extra support, if you just weld it, it will break again down the track.
While the seat is apart, you should get the other side of the seat welded and extra metal added for extra support.

i thought that this was only a common problem in commodores, and thats why they all sit like morons leaning over the passenger side
