Default Variable Wiper Delay Control

Has anyone successfully swapped the standard fixed-delay intermittent wiper control for the variable delay type?

I would love to hear your suggestions.

Thanks

I think you would need to swap the BEM which means taking it to a ford dealer to get it and the ECU recoded... $$$

Some models already have the higher series BEM and need some of the options unlocked as well.

Like I found with my XLS ute ... as it has the higher series BEM in it .... but not all options are in use ... but couldn't be bothered fiddling with it.

Thanks for the info. I think I will just put up with the set delay. Anyway, it does not seem to rain much these days. _2:

i didn't realise there was a set delay?

is this only in S1's?

Cos mine is a S2 forte base of the base (not even any cruise or anything) and it's got the variable intermittents...
