I've been searching various wreckers over the last year, as well as eBay, but I can't seem to find the front end of the car in the link. I have a Series 1 Forte, and desperately want to upgrade, but don't have the money to get it brand new from ford.

heaps of wreckers should be able to help you. Down here in sydney there is an abundance of AU spares. You are after a high series Bonnet,Series 1 fairmont grille, and front bar (not sure if you can use your existing front bar)?? I sold my bonnet, grille and bar on Ebay last year for $150.00.
They are around just gotta keep looking. If you can find a cheap XR front bar may be a cheaper alternative as you already have the low series bonnet?? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/XR8-AU-Front-...d=p3286.c0.m14

you only need bonnet and grill, ask for series 2 bonnet or high series. try the ford wreckers at redcliff or abc in brissy there are three of them ipswich rd rocklea, wacol and medowbrook i think. and you can often find the grill on ebay i have seen them from same seller brand new chrome. just did search 2 grilles brand new under $100 but are series 2 might be looking for a while for the one you want though but you will get one.
