OK Mexicans,
Time we got planning for our big Autumn cruise to Daylesford for lunch and then Mt Franklin for our Autumn Photoshoot. Some of you may remember that Danny, Adam and myself took some amazing photos on a perfect carpet of Autumn leaves. Perfect backdrop for a selection of Eurofords. This year, we want to share our favourite spot with everyone! Let's start the discussion about the date and details, however our annual lunch at Daylesford Pub is set to be bigger than ever and if we can get some good quality cameras, we might just be able to take some stunning photos!! Steve, maybe you can come and bring your new camera!! So let's get the ball rolling for a nice drive, a great lunch and that perfect opportunity to take photos of your car that you'll treasure forever

Funny you shud mention photography. Coz 2day morning was a bit cloudy, and I, inspired by melbzetecs photos, washed my car and tried taking some photos. But by the time I finished, the sun was glowing and I cudnt get 1 good shot.
May be it was my camera, may be it was me. (I think its more me than the camera) All I got was a few glaring shots. I'll try to come for sure if its on a weekend or a public holiday. And learn a thing or 2 abt how to take a gud pic.

Awesome!! This is growing momentum already! Alex, we might just take you up on the offer, I'm most impressed! Stay tuned, we'll see how we go for numbers before we waste anyone's time! But well worth the trip out just to see the leaves...

haha dunno what to say :S
Given the turn out of a few of the XR5 events now... we could possibly end up flooding out this one if we had a large number show up... and really thats not so cool |

considering the amount of people that actually attend the euroford meets in melbourne im sure they would love to include us
top effort to the regulars though!! you lads do a great job!! but let us know if we are welcome or its purely a club event in which i cant be included either. Sean - i dont think you have a place to comment in a victorian thread mate, just stick to NSW as your opinon is in greater need with them. Luc

I have no problem with the XR5 Turbo club coming. I just would like them to invite us on their cruises. If they have had anymore since the GOR cruise

I won't give a definite answer, but I'm up for it at this point. The Fiesta hasn't been washed in a month!

Some say the outline of his left nipple is exactly the same shape as the Nürburgring
Some say that he's wanted in the former Yugoslavia, others that he can catch fish... with his tongue All we know is, he's called Zetec. OK, seriousness aside, I'm inclined to say that this is an official Eurofordclub event, but I'm happy to welcome anyone willing to attend. Our regulars like Jodie and Luke are always welcome, I'm hoping we get a good turn out of our own Victoria members but I'm not going to discourage anyone from coming along. Focus XR5 Turbos are Eurofords too, and ones that have massively increased the popularity of the Focus range! So everyone is welcome, Luke you're free to post on the forum to invite XR5 Turbo owners, the more the merrier. Didn't think I'd ever see the day we'd start actively selecting people who came on cruises!! I see everyone's point, but despite needing a Turbo to go fast, these XR5 lot are a great bunch of people!!! They're not to be feared and if anything, we're to embrace them with open arms for the biggest potential Vic Eurofordclub meet ever!! : And Alex, we'd love you to attend, I've been meaning to PM you about so stay tuned (too tired now, will PM hopefully tomorrow!) but I've checked out your website and I love your work so we'd love to have you along mate. You won't regret it for the photos you'll get of your car, our cars, whatever!!! This place has to be seen to be believed in person. It's a nice drive, lunch and photos, not a race so everyone from a KA to an Focus RS and even an Escort Cosworth are welcome, no reason we can't include an EA, especially since the following occurred... "When it came time to design the all new EA Falcon, Ford Australia again looked at overseas models. The European Granada/Scorpio and American Taurus were brought to Australia. The two cars had significantly less shoulder room and the Taurus was front wheel drive. So Ford decided to build the EA from the ground up. Early EA prototypes resembled the Scorpio, but the car evolved into the EA we know. The computer aided design prototype was shipped to fashion conscious West Germany, to gauge people’s reactions. If the style won the hearts of the West Germans, it would quickly gain approval here. The EA was displayed with the best of them: a BMW 5 series, an Audi 100 and a Mercedes Benz 190. It was a hit with the Germans, so Ford knew it had the styling right." (taken from http://www.geocities.com/falconfacts.../eafalcon.html) So if you ask me, an EA is approved by Europeans and especially Germans. We all know what great cars they make... :
