Default Down an AU

Afternoon all,

Just thought id share that I finally got the XR8 sold. At a price I was happy with. Trouble is im now down an AU

I still have the Fairmont, but sharing is highly inconvenient

Apologies to the mods if you find this thread pointless. Feel free to delete it if you wish, I just wanted to share my thoughts with fellow AUvians.

Ive always had a softspot for AU1s. They were a unique falcon in their own right. Plus the fact theyre the most hated model means picking up a cheap one is a piece of cake.

Ill have to start a photo thread of it at some point. Its a very nice looking car. If youre one the few weirdos like me who love the whaletooth grille.

Yeah i've had two AU1s, and whilst the AUIIs and IIIs are superior mechanically and functionally, the AU1s somehow are more 'pure' to the AU experience.
