Default Need a bit of help

Hey guys, ive changed the plugs, leads and coils on my au xr8... took it for a spin and the dte dropped by about 25?!
Whats up with that and how can i fix it?

Also noticed when putting new coil on the right had a plug come from somewhere? has a grey xmas tree clip too with pbt gf30? dont know where it went so attached to mounting plate of right coil...... is this the problem here? cheers Peter

As I said in my PM, that grey plug attaches to the black bracket that the coil packs are bolted to. On the manifold side of it. You'll see a hole in the bracket that the xmas tree plug goes into and holds it there.

Sweet as cheers Russ... but the dte just keeps dropping? Looking for a leak- 5 mins just ideling in the garage dropped another 15 wtf?? ;(

Dude, that's because you are using fuel but not going anywhere! It measures how far you will get with your current fuel load. Leave it idle long enough and eventually DTE will show 0 even if you have fuel left.

Hmm mine used be freaky then.... would go to about 600 when full.... and dropp bugger all, gragually.... everyone else when fitting theres saw there dte rise by a fai bit instantly i started at 260 15 mins fiddling with a drive- which when id give it a squirt over 120 usually it would gain a few too... so far all losses :(
