Default Performance tuner for carbied engines in WA.

Hi all, I have just ran my solid cam in on my new xflow engine and i now need someone to tune it. I am south of the river in wa. It has a 650 4brl quick fuel carby, msd 6al-2 with an xf est dizzy. It is estimated at 3-350fwhp. Cheers Chris.

Used to get my 260Z with triple webers (absolute buggers to keep tuned) done at a place in Welshpool many years ago. I can't remember the name, but I should be out that way next week. Will drive by and see if they are still in business (and get the name).

They had their own dyno too.

Try TT Autos in Canning Vale, they have done a few friends cars in the past with no issues or maybe Chris Mills in Kewdale.

He's the one who put me onto this guy in Welshpool, as he wasn't a Weber specialist, but yes probably does Holleys etc.

I cant go on the dyno yet, i need to run it in properly before i can hit the dyno. I dont really wont to go to chris mills because i spoke to them on the phone and they dont seem to know too much about highly modified xflows. But please keep the suggestions coming because i have spent 9.5k on this engine and i want it to perform. Cheers chris.

easy to give a holley a good tune yourself within 20 mins, after its run in then get it dyno'd.just make sure the motor is warm when you do the mix screws.

your best putting it on a dyno, and using the dyno to load up the engine to run it in.
If you want to bring the car up NOR, i can do the tuning for you.

Kwinana Performance did my 351 for me. They put new heads and extractors on it then dyno tuned it. They do a lot of carby cars and have drag cars and know what there doing.

Simon at Xtreme Ford used to run 10 second carby cars.

Most of the reputable shops were in the game long before FI.
