Default NSW: EuroFordClub Photo Shoot and Cruise

Hi Fellow Eurofordclub attendees / interested parties,

2006 has kicked off! :

To start the year off I am going to organise a photoshoot and cruise, it will be a bit different this time as I want to do it at night and also want to spend more time on taking pics than cruising.

The idea is:

Meet at a chosen spot for dusk/night pics of the cars, the spot being considered is a car park with shade sails set up and lights.

The chosen spot will be in Western Sydney but exact details will not be provided just yet as I am waiting on some further information that may make this part of the cruise more in demand than normal. The chosen spot may also be changed. (I know this sounds very uncommital at the moment doesnt it?)

After all pics have been taken, cruise from the chosen spot through the streets to the M4 then head out to Penrith for KrispyKreme. After meeting at Penrith its home time.

Dates:
Dates will be 18th Feb, or any Saturday night in March. Preferably the earlier the better.

Are you interested/keen?
Post below. As more details become available I will update here with them.

Todd

Im interested ;)

But, It'd be nice to get some in The Rocks (old buildings in background, to capture the feeling of an old Italian city, and perhaps down at the boat ramp at Sylvania Waters at Tom Uglys bridge? Just an idea to get out there

boat ramp is a top place for photos

milsons point is also good

unfortunately, both these locations dont seem to fit in well with the western sydney theme

I'd be interested, for sure! Any venue is o.k.

The M7 now makes accessing other areas quicker/easier for some of us. BlackLS' idea of The Rocks sounds great. An alternative venue could be the Camden area (lots of old buildings) and we could squeeze a quick run to the Razorback Range?

Thats not a bad idea. Camden is in the area, and we can do the Razorback run that was organised last October or so then I had the EF... Just ensure we don't have the torrential rain we had that night lol.

Wet roads for a photoshoot can look alright, but no for cruising.

UPDATE

The date will be 4th March, a Saturday, and the event will take place in the afternoon from about 4 or 5pm.

I will be scouting 2 locations this Saturday for this event. They will be Eastern Creek (near the race track) and Anzac Bridge in the City at the wharf and container area.

In other news, I am in the process of confirming 2 Models for the event, which will make this event a non-cruise event and a more dedicated photo event.

I will post more information on the Models once confirmed, however I can tell you at the moment that the most likely candidates at this time are 2 girls from the UK who are professional Models and have appeared in magazines such as "Loaded, FHM, Maxim" and many other print and media publications.

I will also most likely be opening up this event to the other members of Ford Forums, although I do want to limit the number of cars that come along as the Models do require payment and are paid by the hour and I also want to be able to give those that come along enough exposure. As there will be a cost for the Models, those that choose to participate may be asked to contribute a small amount towards their cost.

For your contribution you will get copies of all images taken of your car and a selection of the best from all the pics taken.

Stay tuned for more details on location and Models.

Todd.A.

Count me in.

Not sure how many locations you'd be looking for, but the Olympic site (Olympic Blvd in particular) is great for night shots, also some of the fountain/water features in the area.

Near the city there's a great place at Milsons Point, Blues Point and howabout Sydney Airport?

There's also a location I remember seeing an XR6 Turbo photographed at night in between two bridges - this might've been Tom Ugly's bridge which was posted earlier?

Can't wait!

UPDATE

2 Models have been approached to do this shoot. Hopefully over the coming week the Models for the shoot will be bookd and confirmed.

I will be seeking confirmations of attendees over the next week also, I will advise by PM to those interested as I am loathe to turn this into a gawk fest for those not wishing to be invloved.

This is Sarah one of the girls. Sarah is from the UK and has done a heap of photography work, she has appeared in MAXIM, Loaded, FHM in the UK along with numerous other publications.

This event is still full steam ahead and those confirmed are all booked and details have been sent out. The togs for the event have already thought up some fantastic ideas for the day so hopefully those that are coming along wont be disappointed.

For those that have missed out depending on the results of this one we will look at doing another shoot later in the year.

Melbzetec,

Have you tried going over to eurofordclub.com and then logging onto the Forums and then just following it through till you get the viewtopic (Does this make sense)??
