Oops I mean "Barn Find" (Can a Moderator edit the title please) See http://www.fordforums.com/f532/need-...-wagon-288841/
If this is genuine it looks in reasonable condition.

I wonder if Ford dealers or even Ford in Indonesia still hold any spares that the stocked to service the locally assembled Oz Fords. Dare one hope?

Thats a nice find.
By the way I swear to god that a Ford XD-XF falcon wagon appears in the first Jurassic Park movie. The location in the movie says its San Jose, Costa Rica. Who knows for sure. The driver is on the left so maybe its a US model. |

Doubt very much that there's any Aussie cars in Costa Rica?
It's a left hand drive country, Plus no vehicle lasts more than 2-3 years with the state of the roads once outta San Jose. I'm back there again in August, so I'll keep me eyes peeled though.

That Jurassic Park car is an yearly 80's US Fairmont.
Would be interesting to see that XR's compliance plate. Could just be a personal import, saw many Aussie cars around the Kuta area owned by expats running businesses up there back in the 90's and many are restored there which may be the case with this car. "Despite the fact that Michael Crichton set his Jurassic Park story in Costa Rica, the Central American country was never used as a shooting location. It consistently lost out to Hawaii when it came to filming the movies."

The XD-XF wagon tailgate was shared with the US Fairmont.
