hi,
on my au xr6 vct once it warms up a little, when it idles the oil pressure gauge will move down from the halfway mark to about 1/4 or lower if the air con is on i've even had the light come on, it started after i got it serviced for the first time after i bought it 18months ago, my mechanic has put thicker oil (gone from hpr10 to hpr15) and is reluctant to go any higher. im going to replace the oil pressure sender on it in the next week to see if that fixes it i just want to know if anyone else has had a similar issue or what they think it could be. cheers

"update"
just had the sender fitted, so far the gauge sit at just below 3/4's where before it sat a 1/2, it still goes down when i idle but only to just below half way, i'll know for sure if its fixed once it goes on a long drive in traffic but so far so good. :
