Default re-organise the forums

Don't flame me, this is merely a suggestion.

This site is huge. I lost count when I hit 100 subforums...

How about a clean up or merge of some of the sub forums. For instance wiring diagrams could go under the appropriate subforums..ie falcons I see the links are there for the threads, but how about cleaning up the site and put the thread in there??

And the utes are FALCONS, so the utes could go under 'falcons'??

Perhaps have a WA section, NSW section, QLD etc etc and collate all sub forums into each..

Similiar to (don't flame again please) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums
The way prank has set the skyline forum out works great. it has a huge database like this site and it works.

Anyways, just a suggestion.
Don't flame me, but if ya have too :

The forum just had a major overhaul a few months ago, if you were a member then you would know.

I don't wish to step on anyone's toes but I have to agree with Gemibabe. Unfortunately I wasn't here earlier to see what the site was like before and I really do love all the excellent info on hand here but it does take a bit to work out navigating to find what you want.

I also understand with such a HUGE usergroup though that it would be an extreme task trying to keep on top of every post to make sure it is in the correct area. I have run a couple of forums before but have never seen one on the scale of this. You people that run it have to be commended for the job you do.

I certainly agree, great job by all.

I guess there is always going to be forums that may have better features but they may lack something this forum has.

Once you become a regular and read most of the old posts that interest you, its easy to keep up with whats new by just using the New Posts option. That way really doesnt matter if teh post is in the wrong section, you still get to see it and read if it interests you.

just my 2 cents

I understand where he is coming from however I know of forums that are far bigger than this one and it takes a week to explore the entire forum
