I changed my brakes on my AU1 falcon with non-slotted new rotors and Bendix CT brake pads. Brake fluid was also changed and fully flushed.
Braking is still pretty ordinary. I know its a S1 with the crappy brakes but what can I do to improve stopping performance? I was thinking about installing Bendix Ultimate pads as they are pretty grippy (i.e. chew rotors) I don't care about rotor wear they are very cheap anyway. My brother had Green stuff pads in his S1, stopped pretty good but had to replace rotors almost every pad change. Also they were a little noisy and not the best when the car is cold. I do alot of freeway driving so I need good brakes to work straight away incase some one suddenly slows down. |

Maybe just bite the bullet and do the series 2/3 upgrade.

Series 2/3 upgrade out of the question. Would cost too much for me personally.

I ran RDA Slotteds and RDA Xtreme pads. Bit noisy, not great for the first few stops, but once heated, they were awesome!
