Hi everybody!
As a group, we've decided to study the Ford Motor Company for a university assignment. At this stage we're collecting as much info as we can on the company, but I figured I'd throw something up here for the people that may work/have worked at Ford, or people who just know a lot The assignment is primarily researching various Human Relations practices in the company. Maybe I'll just throw up a few questions to begin with... How many functional areas or departments get involved in the creation process to build cars? Is there provision for staff business training, or opportunities for 'intrapreneurialism' (creating/executing new business ideas within an already established company) How 'tight' are the organisational controls within the company, is there enough 'slack' for employee initiative, hearing employees' new ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
