Thumbs down Cars stolen at Brissy dealership and Ambulance staff abused!

Sounds a bit organized....

High-powered Holdens stolen brazen heist

Updated July 08, 2012 09:11:12
Map: QLD

Two high performance cars have been stolen and four others damaged at a car dealership in Brisbane this morning.

It happened just before 1:00am (AEST) this morning on Newmarket Road at Windsor.

Police said the thieves broke into the showroom, located the car keys and drove through the front windows of the dealership.

Two other vehicles were then successfully driven through another showroom window and over a bollard, where one car remains stuck.

Four other vehicles in the dealership were also damaged during the incident.

Dealership manager John Maurice says it looks like a bomb has gone off.

"They've destroyed a number of cars because they've reversed them back and forth inside the showroom to get them out," he said.

"There was also an incident with an ambulance driver as well who pulled over when they saw all the smoke on the side of the road."

Police confirmed a passing ambulance stopped to render assistance at what they thought was a traffic crash.

The driver was abused by one of the offenders and a window was punched.

The ambulance drove away but was clipped on the rear by one of the stolen cars.

The two ambulance officers were not physically injured.

Police said the two stolen cars, a white 2012 Holden HSV Maloo R8 utility and a silver 2012 Commodore HSV Club Sports sedan, were last seen travelling east on Newmarket Road.

The three offenders are described as wearing balaclavas.

With the state of Brisbane lately im going with a 13yr old a 15yr old and a 17yr old. "Parents say they are wonderful kids and there must be some mistake"

Holden are not having much luck with things going missing this week.

perhaps smashing the offenders in the face back and forth then running over them like they did to the dealership would be a suitable punishment.

Haha in and out without a trace

Sadly though I would say the cars would be completely stripped and the engines and interior would be the only salvageable parts

See, now they can't get their stolen motors out of the Holden factory after the "theft ring" got discovered, they've gotta go for whole cars now.

If its anything like the pre-delivery garages here in Melbourne's Essendon Fields dealerships it had to be an inside job, they've got electronically controlled gates and what looks like razor wire on their tall fences.

I just hope they don't kill any innocent drivers with there stupidity. And I am not an ambulance driver (anyone can drive an ambulance), I am an ambulance paramedic with many years of training and knowledge. That is a derogatory term for paramedics these days. People don't call police officers police drivers or fire fighters fire truck drivers. End of rant !!!

Data dots only work if someone checks them.

Flog em off cheap, probably to waiting buyers, might get found might not. But the original thieves will have already made their coin.

Or, as suggested earlier its a bunch of teenagers and somewhere there's a couple of new hsvs being treated as paddock hacks.

Nope was just a shed door with direct street access.

When you can actually read them. Most police units and RTA don't even have the correct devices to read them, let alone where on the vehicle they're actually applied - you'd be surprised how many modern cars which claim to have them from the factory haven't been applied correctly.

I just watched it on the news. They said that there were four masked men. They tried to take the GTS first but it got stuck. The Maloo and Clubsport were also both damaged as they were getting away.
The dealership had security cameras BUT none of them actually worked !

The reporter showed a 100m long burnout mark and said the thieves were obviously skilled !! (WTF)

Keep a look out for four guys, dumb, dumber, dumberer and dumbererer.

cars will probably be used to commit ram raids. police will have to abandon most pursuit and the criminals know this. anyone with a police scanner or who works as a police officer will know this is common and only a small amount of thefts hit the media.
