My 2013 Trend manual has a new vibration behind the stereo at just over 2000rpm. Seems to go once the car is warmed up but is a new sound!! Any ideas people. Little reluctant to try and take the dash to bits. Any ideas as to what it may be. Only started recently and seems to be at this rev range and sounds like a metallic kind of buzzing noise and goes once you get over 2500rpm.

Hello I had a similar noise after having the windscreen replaced it appeared to come from the dash but it was the plastic trim at the lower section of the screen on the outside of the car flapping in the wind against the screen there was a very small gap only a mm or so

I'm also having this issue. It came and went ages ago. I put it down to cold weather.
It has been getting very cold now and it seems to come every time now around 2k rpms. The sound appears to be coming further up front, not 100% sure.

Update; Noticed my coolant level was below min. Needed to add at least 200mL. As a result the dash noise went away as well. I think the sound must have been coming from the heater core.
It would make sense that the noise would go away once the car is hot as the coolant takes up more volume.
