Should have worked on his common sense as much as his body by the sound of it...moron...

Then again it was probably inevitable...they have examples of some of his workout videos and he's doing pushups in the middle of the tracks, standing in the middle of tracks lifting barbells, running around railway yards, etc. Knob... Last edited by 2011G6E; 20-01-2015 at 01:54 PM. |

My friend when we were in high school was once bashed and robbed for his wallet near our school by a bloke, a few months after it happened the guy who robbed him and his brother were throwing rocks at trains and both got hit and killed.

Erm, I'm not too worried about being remembered,
At my age, I just want to remember. Certainly wouldn't want to be remembered for doing something wrong or stupid. Cheers.

If his profile didn't stand out so much, he would have been just another sleeper.

I don't think it was an accident based on stupidity to be honest. He tripped and fell. I wonder how many practice runs they did prior to the accident?
Shame a life was lost. 'These things happen'. Calling him stupid and a moron is probably not the best answer, he died while working and it was a tragic accident by the short account that was posted.

I don't know what kind of company would film a commercial by trespassing on railway property...no filming permit was issued...so I'd think it was just something he was doing to promote himself, or his own product.
I feel sorry for the emergency services that had to clean up, the train driver and the guy's family/friends, but that's about it.

Should of had Red Bull.. then he could of flown to safety.
I dunno.. running in to the path of a train is pretty idiotic.. I hear you can do wonderful things with a green screen and a PC these days. Should of kept to the studio..

Some of you are a bit harsh on him, causing a miss Carriage of Justice
He could run like a locomotive andthough he was the goods but couldn't Gauge his step at the fouling point and without a Buffer and was hit in the caboose or mud ring and suffered a head shunt into the track resulting in knock down so will forever be remembered as the bogie Man, his future was derailed when he found himself facing an Express ticket to the firebox for cremation or to be layed in the hole leaving a hump at the cemetery. Pity it wasn't the light rail with no manifest in lieu of the load that hit him Thankfully he wasn't coupling at the time otherwise it could be a double tragedy, fortunately it was a one-man operation... Ok gone too far JP |

The incident above where the person is electrocuted reminds me of an incident here in Melbourne where a train surfer came into contact with the overhead wires at the Melbourne Rd bridge at Newport.
Train continued on to Werribee & stabled for the night & then formed the first train to Melbourne. Person travelling up the escalator at Flinders St saw the body on the roof of the train. Last edited by Pinkbits; 23-01-2015 at 06:29 PM. |

The overhead line voltage up here in Queensland is 26,000 volts...and in the right atmospheric conditions it can arc up to a meter. That's why idiots who have hung over rail bridges to do some graffiti have been comprehensively zapped while still being "a long way" from the wires...
