Hi guys
Just wanting to get some opinions about electronic ignition for a V6 Capri. I have heard some good things about making this upgrade and just wondering what the benefits are and if anyone has any recommendations for what product to buy? Is it worth doing during the build or would it be simple enough to do this once its on the road? If its simple enough to add this later then I might use the money ($300?) for other expenses and just concentrate on getting the build finished with the old coil and resistor I still have. Thoughts greatly appreciated!

This has to be the best modification to any V6 Capri. Jerry Soldatas at Ignition Torque in Bayswater, Victoria did mine and it'sthe best money I ever spent on my V6 Capri. A MUST do for reliable motoring.

Easiest conversion is using the Petronix system. Convert to points in about 15 minutes as long as you have 12V going to dizzy, otherwise you will have to run a new wire....
Info and catalogue below.. http://www.pertronix.com/catalogs/pd...ition_conv.pdf You can buy from these below or Ebay or contact them direct.. http://www.pertronix.com.au/availfrom.html |
