Last time I went to the nostalgia drags the cut off was 1975. Which meant my XB was ok to enter.

Apparently its been changed for this season.

It used to be 1970 and I had a 1973 Model, but as that body shape had begun in 1970 I was ok to race.

I hurt my transmission : and only got 4 passes in... at least now i have a timeslip on here!!!!

Highlight of the day was being a passenger in Johns Cortina doing a 9.8!!! OMG what a thrill!!!!!!!!! I think i might have to stick being a passenger for drag racing events!!

Also going for a spin in the new BF GT was pretty awesome aswell and going for a spin in a car that was slower than my ute out: lol

Yup, drag racings pretty hard on the driveline during the launch process. If you have a slight issue? It'll become a large one in a short amount of time. It must have been on the way out though. A car like yours shouldn't have hurt it at all.

Well i've been having the feeling all week that it was going to go, so it was only a matter of time, but i hurt it more by not knowing when to back off :( It was actually going over the line that it did it aswell... not the launch
