Hi all,
Got myself a 1980 ford escort ghia, need to find some parts and help for it. I am new to these so I will be asking lots of dumb questions. So firstly the gear stick has come off. It looks like it had a rubber bushing inside but PO has put Sikaflex in there. Does anyone know the part number or where I can get one of these, changing gears with the little stump that's left is pretty hard  . Fuel pump issues. Seems like when high revs the car starts to miss or surge, have just had a carbi rebuild kit put through so hope it's not the jets etc, wondering if it could be the fuel pump not getting enough fuel to the engine. Any ideas. Will put some pics up when its daylight. Luke |
